Welcome to my Fun packed Christmas Fur Fest with all our lovable but very hairy friends. Who needs humans when we can have the best company in the world just by inviting all the cats and dogs in the neighbourhood around for Christmas lunch? What would a house be without a pet?

Who said mom dad and the kids were the only ones that counted on this Christmas morning? No way, I say, our animals are just as important. And believe it or not, they love a good puzzle to solve, or a ball game that will get everyone barking madly including you. So they deserve a Pet Christmas Gift too.

So come on in a take a seat. Now we know you all love your pets. But do you take any notice of them at Christmas? No, I bet you are so busy doing all that rushing around, buying kids presents and inviting all those relatives that you never liked in the first place, that you forget to find time to play with your dog. Or maybe even your cat.

Now we all know that dogs need a lot of attention, but we mustn’t forget about poor little kitty. What is it about cats that makes us laugh so much?

Dogs always seem to be very dignified, our faithful friends and are always there when we need a shoulder or waggy tail to lean on.

But what about cats? Why is it that everything they do make you scream with laughter? With their aloof ways and snooty expressions, they feel that they are the lord and ladies of the animal world. Then they trip over the dog, get stuck in a box, fall out of their baskets, and end up with cream all over their noses! And what do we do? Well, scream with laughter.

So I got to thinking. Maybe its time for us to give them something back for all the enjoyment we get out of seeing them act like clowns.

Clever Cats!

If you are in the habit of buying toys for your pets, I bet you always go for the same or similar ones every year. But did you know that you can actually buy interactive toys and games for your pet?

No? I can tell that you are thinking this woman is nuts! How on earth are they going to play with an X box? No silly, I don’t mean those sort of interactive games! But funnily enough, you are not far wrong.

What you have got to remember is that they get bored too. Yep, hard to believe, but poor old Scruffy gets fed up with going for the same walks and sniffing the same ground. And as for Jemima the Persian kitty, well she has told me in no certain terms that if she has to sit there preening all day licking her paws and other bits and pieces then she expects me to help her cough up her fir ball! No Sirree not me! So I scrambled around in a state of sheer panic and found these lovely little gems.

Hope you like them. And more important, I hope your very discerning pet does too!

Cat Confusion!

We all know how nosy a cat is. Every time you buy yourself something, the cat has to get in the box or bag before you even take your coat off! So this is a clever little toy, it will keep your cat amused for hours.

You can place food, toys or anything you know that your cat will love in the trays, and watch your cat figure it out within minutes. But the good thing about it is that you can rotate the toys within the box, so when kitty things she or he has it sussed out, they will find that the toy has gone missing and they will have to start all over again!

The one thing I love about cats is their curiosity. They may play for a while and then wander off, as if to say, 'Well bored with that!' but then a few moments later they come back and have another go. I have watched my cat try to get inside a box for at least an hour. It will sit there staring at the thing, dive in, scarper out and then tip it over to try again! So, can you imagine giving them something interactive? They will be so amused they will forget to Meow for their food. Or perhaps not. Cats are just as greedy as dogs, they just do it in a more regal way!

Now guys I am going to count to five and then I am coming to get you.1.2.3.4.5.....where you all gone??

Cats And Dogs Love Chasing Lights!

I love this one! I have spent many an afternoon shining a light around the carpet, watching in delight as my dog or cat try and chase the light up the wall, across the sofa and back onto the ground! Its absolutely hilarious, and this will keep you pet amused for hours, not withstanding the fact that you will be rolling around on the floor watching them make a spectacle of themselves!

The advantage of this toy is the fact that you don't have to get arm ache holding the torch! This is a clever little device that does it all for you. I have no idea why animals love chasing around an imaginary object, but hey ho, they love it, it gives them exercise and the most important thing is that they don't get bored!

Doggy Delights!

The Nina Ottosson Dog Tornado Game is great fun for dogs to play with either on their own or with you, their perfect partner play buddy! Unlike cats, dogs do have to be shown a few times exactly what to do, but when they get the hang of it, they are off like a whippet after a rabbit!

Just take your dog through the steps as shown in the video, and then you will be able to leave them to it. To start the training its best to add food to the toy, but after a while you should be able to place toys in it and they will still get hours of fun out of it. Even if it does end up with a bit of slobber all over it! lol

Sniff Sniff! Did Somebody Say Squirrels?

Where's that Squirrel? I know I put it somewhere! lol Your dog is going to love this! It is a dogs natural instinct to sniff out almost anything that catches their attention, so they will have hours of mad fun trying to work this one out! Loads of pockets to put the toys in, and hidden places for a dog to stick his nose into!

The advantage of this toy is that it can be thrown into the washing machine when it gets to, well, doggy! At least the slobber will be on the toy and not on the chewed up carpet. Happened in my house. Long story! lol

Raggy Rope!

I have spent many hours in the park with my Alsatian cross Colly dog, chasing her around, grabbing branches and her pulling me along. It always makes me laugh how every time she pulled on the branch or the toy, she always seemed to mumble at the same time!

Have you ever heard a dog make that sound? Hilarious! Its like someone muttering under their breath with a few growls and hiccups at the same time! And that's the first thing that came into my head when I saw the Rag Rope. Not only does it keep your pooch from being bored, it will be a great game when your dog takes you out for a walk! Yes I did say that. Well, how did you think you got to the park every afternoon? You don't seriously believe that it was your idea! lol

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my selection, and don't forget, your pets are just as important as your husband or wife! I can see you all nodding now! lol

Have a good one1
