Hmmm... there are some nice ideas here, but the first one about the stars, I'm not convinced. I can't speak for all men when I say this, but I think that a gift of this sort would fall under the "pointless splurges" category. I mean, you can't really own a star. Yes, you can put a name on it, but come on now... I think this is more a gift women would appreciate. Then again, it's the thought that counts.

I think the best gift for a guy is something straight from the heart, if you are good at making something, whether it's food, something sweet, or both, I think guys love it when it's something unique, only they have what you made them. And as we all know the saying, the way to a man's heart is through their stomach.
I think the star is an awesome idea. I tell my wife, Nelma of 4 years that the most important thing to me is a giant feast. Pot Roast, Steak, Fish, Scrimp, Pizza, MeatBalls. Feed a man and make his stomach happpy. Then hug and kiss me. Something from her heart. Material things don't last long. Men will get bored with new toys. Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours.
